Local residents are being encouraged to attend forthcoming Liverpool Community Health (LCH) NHS Trust Board Meetings.
The monthly Board meetings take place in Liverpool and Sefton on alternate months.
The next meeting will take place at LCH Headquarters on Tuesday 27th January at 13.30 at the LCH Boardroom, Liverpool Innovation Park, 2nd Floor, Babbage House, Digital Way, L7 9NJ.
The Board meetings provide the public with an opportunity to find out more about LCH and the range of services provided across Liverpool and South Sefton.
The services enable people to be cared for in their own community and remain independent, and where possible supported within their own homes.
Many of these services are delivered out-of-hours with 24 hour, 7 day a week access.
The Trust also works with communities to prevent ill health, promote healthier lifestyles and manage long term conditions.
Frances Molloy, Chair of the LCH Board, explained: “The role of the Trust Board is to ensure we deliver high quality healthcare and improve the health of our local population. We also oversee the performance of the organisation and monitor the way we deliver our services so they reflect the needs of our communities.
“Each month, a patient attends the Board meeting to share their experience of accessing LCH services and being cared for by our staff. Feedback from patients and their families is shared with our staff to highlight best practice, and also to identify any potential areas of improvement.”
Members of the public who would like to attend a Board Meeting are asked to confirm their attendance in advance and to advise of any special requirements by calling 0151 295 3200 or emailing lch.communications@liverpoolch.nhs.uk.
The dates of future LCH Board Meetings and copies of the Board papers can also be found at www.liverpoolcommunityhealth.nhs.uk/who-we-are/board-meetings.htm.
