Liverpool Sunflowers Cancer Care is hosting an afternoon tea party on Thursday April 2.
This special spring fundraiser event will be held at the Sunflowers Centre, 21 Aigburth Road between 14.00–16.00.
The event will offer a selection of home-made cakes, sandwiches and treats to enjoy alongside tea and coffee, plus a chance to browse around a range of art and craft stalls or relax and enjoy the spring weather in the idyllic Sunflowers garden.
It is also an opportunity for anyone interested in finding out more about Liverpool Sunflowers to meet and chat to the friendly staff team, and some of their former and current service users.
All members of the public are welcome to drop in and be part of the event.
Tickets cost just £3 per person and can be bought on the door; you can just drop in.
All proceeds will be directly invested back into Liverpool Sunflowers to help support local people living with cancer.
Joan Elmer, Chief Executive Officer at Liverpool Sunflowers Cancer Care, commented: "We want to invite members of the local community to come along and join us for this special fundraising event.
"Not only will it be a fantastic social occasion, it’s also an opportunity to help raise vitally needed funds for the ongoing work of our cancer support charity."
Liverpool Sunflowers provides a unique range of free support services for anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis in Merseyside, including advisory services, professional counselling, alternative therapies which compliment NHS medical treatments, and group support sessions for both cancer patients and their families/carers.
