Liverpool’s unique and entertaining Comedy Coach Tour returns for a new season for 2015.

The sightseeing tour with a difference takes visitors on a hysterical trip around the city that they certainly won’t forget in a hurry.  Each tour features a hilarious stand-up comic who provides gags, jokes and amusing commentary for the duration of the hour-long trip.

The coach tour takes in some of Liverpool’s most iconic and attractive locations including the Pier Head and the world famous Three Graces; Mathew Street and The Cavern Club, home of The Beatles; St George's Hall and Cultural Quarter; Hope Street and the city’s two cathedrals, Liverpool Cathedral and Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.

The tours were launched in 2013 and as well as attracting private group bookings, the tours are also proving popular as part of a hen or stag celebration, or as a fun filled family activity for a milestone birthday.

Liverpool continues to grow as an event and conference destination, and the Comedy Coach Tours are an ideal and exciting option to include in a social programme for delegates who are looking for something a little different during their stay.

Claire Rider, who created the Comedy Coach Tours, commented: “The tours are proving extremely popular, especially with groups visiting the city. It’s a great way to see the iconic sights of Liverpool, while having plenty of laughs along the way.

“Conference organisers hosting delegates who are staying in the city and groups of day trippers are always looking for tours with a difference. Liverpool is famous for its fantastic sense of humour so this is the perfect way to showcase the city, with transport provided – and it’s a really fun way to experience the city from a whole new perspective.”

Guests gather at the popular Spice Lounge restaurant at Albert Dock Liverpool and enjoy a welcome glass of Bucks Fizz before boarding the coach for a rib-tickling, laugh-a-minute tour around the city, complete with comic impressions, tall tales and plenty of wry wit.

A Comedy and Curry package is also available, which includes a ticket for the Comedy Coach Tour and then a curry at the delightful Spice Lounge, which specialise in a delicious array of modern Indian cuisine.

The tours have a variety of Scouse comedians signed up as tour guides including funny man and impressionist Mark Langley, who is well-known on the Liverpool comedy circuit; his repertoire includes fantastic impressions of local personalities, including footballers and The Beatles, and throughout his career has worked with the likes of Steve Coogan, Jason Manford and Liverpool’s very own John Bishop.

The organisers are also in talks with much-loved comedian Terry Titter who hopes to join the Comedy Coach Tour later in the season, so watch this space.

Comedy Coach Tours also work with group travel operators and coach companies who would like to host a tour but can provide their own vehicle.

The tour is suitable for children and has been rated PG, but all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

The new season runs from Saturday May 30-Saturday October 17.

Tours outside of these dates can be arranged upon request.
